Located on the East side of the Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year, and this festival and parade were no exceptions! Return throughout this colorful fall season and enjoy the brilliantly red vine maples, the blazing yellow aspens and the many varied recreational opportunities available. You may enjoy a walk through our Waterfront and Enchantment Parks as well. There is a photo opportunity waiting for you! We also have exquisite shopping, a great variety of dining and lodging opportunities and you are assured of a smile, a gracious greeting and a Guten Tag throughout our friendly village. secrets out! The 49th Royal Lady of the Autumn Leaves is Sandy Siegert!
Sandy has volunteered one way or the other for over 30 years to help make
Leavenworth the dream town it is today. Her chaperone is Lady
Margret Marson and between the two of them, this year will be something special!

The Royal Bavarians has been greeting guests of Leavenworth, Washington
for over thirty years! This organization is a Chartered greeting organization
and is recognized as a leading influence in the hosting, greeting,
and preservation of the of the Leavenworth Bavarian Theme. In conjunction with
the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce, Washington State's Autumn Leaf Festival,
Northwest Festival Hosting Association, and
many, many more local organizations, The Royal Bavarians continue to provide an

Anthracite Coal First Burned as Residential Heating Fuel (1808)Anthracite is a compact variety of coal that was first burned as a residential heating fuel in the US by Judge Jesse Fell in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It differs from wood in that it needs a draft from below. By burning it on an open grate in a fireplace, Fell proved that it could be a viable heating fuel. When in Control of Epidural Dosage, Women Use LessMore than half of women in labor opt for epidural anesthesia, a type of anesthesia that is delivered directly into the spine to numb the lower half of the body, reducing the pain of childbirth but also increasing the risk of an instrumental delivery, meaning that doctors must use forceps or a ventouse to help deliver the baby's head.
